1979 Pontiac Trans Am DKM Macho Turbo in Black over Black Interior. Equipped with a Turbocharged 400ci V8 Engine mated to a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. This extremely special Trans Am has recently received a complete nut & bolt restoration and seen very few miles since. This is DKM Macho Trans Am #11 of only 96 produced by the Mecham brothers in 1979, and one of only 22 DKM Macho ‘Turbo’ examples built. Only 35k miles on the odometer, believed to be original to the car. These upgraded Trans Ams could be ordered straight from the Mecham Pontiac dealer, making this a very special piece of Pontiac history. This particular car was fully loaded from both the GM factory and Mecham Performance. T-Tops. Power windows. DKM installed Scheel heated race seats. Hooker roll bar. 4-Weel disc brakes. The engine was completely rebuilt during restoration and features Forged Pistons, special grind Comp cam, Comp valves & valvesprings, Holley Sniper fuel injection.
